B-1 Visa Business Visitors

B-1 Visa: Temporary Business Visitor


B-1 Temporary Business Visitor Visas are reserved for foreign visitors who wil be participating in business activities of a commercial or professional nature in the United States. B-1 visas are issued for an initial period of stay of 1 to 6 months. Certain B-1 Visitors must obtain employment authorization in the United States.


The spouse and children of a B-1 visitor are not eligible to obtain a dependent visa. They must apply for and qualify for a B-2 tourist visitor visa.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • The purpose of the trip must be for a legitimate business purpose.

  • Visitor must plan to remain in the United States for a short and specific limited period.

  • Visitor must be admissible to the United States.

  • Visitor must have enough funds to finance their trip.
